Job summary

Coinhako is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Payments & Wallet team. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance services powering our payments and wallet infrastructure, ensuring reliability and scalability.

You'll collaborate across product and design, own API design, and work with security and compliance to safeguard digital assets, including on-chain services. Experience with Rails 8, Go, and AWS is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with Ruby and/or Go in production.
• Strong API design and integration experience.
• Knowledge of cryptography and blockchain security.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable backend services for payments and wallet.
• Design high-volume APIs used by frontends and traders.
• Drive architectural decisions for production systems.
• Manage custody and security for digital assets and compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers, product and design across development cycles.
