Job summary
A leading pastries company in Singapore is seeking an experienced baker to assist in the preparation and baking of high-quality pastries. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of baking experience and a strong passion for artisanal baked goods. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and support daily production operations. This is a full-time, in-person position with a rotating schedule including early mornings and weekends.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and baking of pastries, ensuring adherence to Kwaasong's quality and consistency standards.
- Support daily production operations, helping to ensure timely and exceptional output.
- Apply new baking techniques and recipes.
- Maintain the kitchen and baking areas to high cleanliness and organizational standards.
- Assist with managing inventory levels of baking ingredients and tools, including receiving supplies and monitoring stock usage.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring full compliance with all applicable standards.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support smooth operations and efficient production.
Job Requirements
- Prior experience of at least 8 years in baking, ideally in a professional kitchen environment, or through a strong personal passion and consistent practice demonstrating equivalent skill.
- A strong passion for artisanal baked goods and a commitment to craftsmanship.
- Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene practices, and baking techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and follow production schedules.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and eager-to-learn mindset.
