We are looking for a self-driven, go-getter to grow these partnerships, build capabilities, and deliver solutions that support business growth initiatives. The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Success in this position requires the candidate to be a technical ninja, aligning with key programs and educating/upskilling partners on Snowflake’s critical product features. The role involves engaging with both technical and executive audiences using whiteboarding, presentations, and demos to build mindshare among Snowflake partners.

The role also involves collaborating with strategic Data Cloud Product partners who are investing significantly in developing cloud-native SaaS offerings on Snowflake and working closely with data app providers.

Given the complexity and strategic nature of this role, it requires a candidate with deep technical expertise and a proven track record of successfully working with large partners to create technical champions and deliver impactful results.

In this role, you will:

  • Run training sessions, workshops, webinars to help Partners become proficient in Snowflake.
  • Assist Solution Providers/Practice Leads with technical strategies enabling them to sell their offerings on Snowflake.
  • Keep Partners updated on key Snowflake product updates and future roadmaps to help them represent Snowflake effectively to their clients.
  • Conduct technical enablement programs, solution design workshops, and best practices sharing.
  • Drive strategic engagements by quickly grasping new concepts and articulating their business value.
  • Showcase the impact of Snowflake through customer success stories and case studies.
  • Understand partner revenue models and industry challenges to identify where Snowflake products can have the most impact.
  • Lead technical and executive presentations, from deep-dives with technologists to strategic discussions with C-level audiences.
  • Contribute to creating reference architectures, blueprints, and best practices based on field experience.
  • Apply development skills by working with large datasets, preprocessing data, and creating data representations.
  • Assist partners in building solutions using Python, Snowpark, and open-source libraries.
  • Dockerize applications and run Docker images inside Snowflake.
  • Build industry solutions based on partner and customer requirements.
  • Develop Gen AI-based applications and stay current with Gen AI advancements.
  • Help partners deploy ML models in Snowflake.

The role involves working across Asia Pacific and Japan regions with up to 40% travel.

Our ideal Data Cloud Architect will:

  • Have deep technical, product, and architectural expertise on the latest data product capabilities with our Partner community.
  • Possess strong experience with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL databases.
  • Have experience with data warehouses such as Azure Synapse, Redshift, BigQuery.
  • Be knowledgeable about the latest Snowflake product updates and best practices.
  • Have 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Have hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Spark, Big Data.
  • Be experienced with Docker and containerizing Python applications.
  • Understand container networking and Kubernetes.
  • Have working knowledge of APIs, Agile practices, CI/CD, DataOps, and MLOps.
  • Be familiar with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, and distributed computing.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Have experience with Big Data or Cloud integration technologies such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Lambda.
  • Be knowledgeable about ML development and Generative AI, including deploying ML models to production.
