Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners seeks a Senior Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end implementations and ongoing support for Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials. You will bridge finance process knowledge with technical architecture, collaborating with stakeholders and vendor partners in a dynamic environment.

The role requires hands-on configuration, functional design, testing, and strong problem-solving across GL, AP, AR, CM, and FA modules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of functional experience in Oracle ERP applications.
• Strong configuration and support in GL, AP, AR, CM, FA.
• Deep understanding of R2R, P2P, O2C, multi-currency, intercompany accounting.
• Hands-on experience with OTBI and Smart View.
• Proficient with lifecycle tools like Jira, ServiceNow, HPQC/ALM.

Responsibilities

• Engage with finance stakeholders to translate requirements into FDDs, designs, and process maps.
• Conduct gap analyses, workshops, and CRP sessions to optimize workflows.
• Perform hands-on module configuration, COA maintenance, and rule setup per controls.
• Assess, test, and validate quarterly Oracle Cloud updates and perform regression testing.
• Validate data flows, APIs, middleware, and integrations between Oracle Cloud Financials and other apps.
• Design and enhance reporting using OTBI, Smart View, and related tools.
• Draft test strategy and lead SIT and UAT with appropriate scenarios/scripts.
• Manage defects via Jira/ServiceNow, log SRs, and drive resolutions.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to join the enterprise applications team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving end-to-end implementation, enhancements, quarterly update validations, and operational support across Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.

This role requires a hands-on functional expert who can bridge the gap between core finance business processes and technical solution architecture, working closely with key stakeholders, cross-functional project teams, and external vendor partners.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Solution Design

• Engage with finance stakeholders and business process owners to translate complex requirements into robust Functional Design Documents (FDDs), solution designs, and process maps.
• Conduct gap analysis, functional workshops, and Solution Confirmation/CRP sessions to optimize business workflows.

Module Configuration & System Administration

• Execute hands‑on module configuration, chart of accounts maintenance, and rule setup across core Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance modules in adherence to internal controls and governance standards.
• Assess, test, and validate quarterly Oracle Cloud updates, evaluating business impact and leading regression testing efforts.

Integration Validation & Reporting

• Validate data flows, API interfaces, middleware connections, and web service integrations between Oracle Cloud Financials and upstream/downstream enterprise applications.
• Design and enhance reporting deliverables utilizing OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), Smart View, and financial reporting tools.

Testing & Incident Management

• Formulate test strategy, draft test scenarios/scripts, and lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage defect resolution through ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow), log and track Oracle Support Requests (SRs), and drive issues to resolution.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

Mandatory Technical & Functional Skills

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of functional experience in Oracle ERP applications, hands‑on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation or support experience.
• Core Module Expertise: Strong configuration and support capability in the following functional areas:
• General Ledger (GL) & Financial Reporting (OTBI / Smart View / FRS)
• Payables (AP) & Receivables (AR)
• Cash Management (CM) & Bank Reconciliations
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Process Knowledge: In‑depth understanding of core financial cycles: Record‑to‑Report (R2R), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Order‑to‑Cash (O2C), multi‑currency, and intercompany accounting.
• Testing & Tools: Hands‑on proficiency with lifecycle management tools (Jira, ServiceNow, HPQC/ALM) and handling Oracle Support SRs.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in Oracle Financials Cloud (e.g., General Ledger or Payables Implementation Specialist).

Experience with cross‑module integrations, basic understanding of SQL/data extraction for defect investigation, or familiarity with regional tax (e.g., Singapore GST) and banking integration protocols.

Exposure to enterprise performance management tools or accounting hub integrations (e.g., EPM/AHCS) is a plus.
