Job summary

GSK Singapore is seeking a capable engineer to support safe, compliant and efficient manufacturing operations. You will work with manufacturing, quality, maintenance and MSAT teams to solve problems, improve processes and enable reliable production, leading complex investigations and CAPA.

This role offers technical growth, opportunities to contribute to validation, tech transfer and continuous improvement, with a hands-on, data-driven approach and clear communication to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, biotechnology, chemical engineering, life sciences or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in regulated manufacturing (pharma/biotech/chemical).
• Practical experience in deviation investigations, root cause analysis and CAPA management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for process and equipment issues.
• Working knowledge of current good manufacturing practices and quality systems.
• Role on-site at Singapore facility with limited remote flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex deviation investigations and corrective actions to timely closure.
• Design and deliver process improvement projects to increase yield, reduce variability or raise efficiency.
• Support validation, trials and technical transfer activities to enable smooth production start-up.
• Monitor process parameters and trends and support risk assessments for quality and business continuity.
• Prepare clear technical documents, training materials and work instructions for operations teams.
• Build strong working relationships with manufacturing, quality, MSAT and maintenance to meet production goals.
