Join a leading logistics provider as a Senior Operations Executive, where you will be pivotal in managing marine logistics services across the APAC region. Marine Logistics encompasses the ‘door to deck philosophy’. The department manages both ‘re-supply’ and (drydock) projects. The re-supply business is to deliver spares and stores to the ship whether tanker/break-bulk/cruise or container ships. The department also undertakes projects like dry-docks or similar projects.
As a Senior Operations Executive at Blue Water Shipping, you will be a key contributor to our marine logistics operations in the APAC region. Leveraging yourexperience, you will take charge of executing and delivering marine logistics services while ensuring adherence to operational standards and providing excellent customer service.
Apply your in-depth understanding of Customer Standard Operating Procedures (CSOP) to enhance Implementation Standard Operating Procedures (ISOP) and oversee their meticulous execution.
Generate and dispatch comprehensive booking notifications to relevant stakeholders and suppliers, utilizing the prescribed format or template.
Demonstrate proficiency in documenting all operational tasks accurately within the BWS Transport Management System (Carlo).
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ascertain charges and terms before confirming bookings.
Coordinate closely with agents to ensure efficient last-mile deliveries to ships.
Foster proactive communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, to comprehend and fulfil intricate business requirements.
Execute tasks with precision based on assigned business, engaging with control parties both internally and externally to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Display flexibility by occasionally participating in onsite work (port terminal or shipyard) or working at client premises based on project demands.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marine logistics, sea/air operations, or related fields.
Possess preferably a Diploma qualification.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, essential for managing simultaneous interactions with vendors, suppliers, and clients.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with an unwavering focus on accuracy in documentation and execution.
Familiarity with transport management systems and booking processes (experience with BWS Transport Management System, Carlo, is a plus)
