Senior Operations Executive (Marine Logistics)

Job Overview

Marine Logistics encompasses the ‘door to deck philosophy’. The department manages both ‘re-supply’ and drydock projects. The re-supply business involves delivering spares and stores to ships, including tankers, break-bulk, cruise, or container ships. The department also undertakes projects like dry-docks.

Your Role

• Apply your understanding of Customer Standard Operating Procedures (CSOP) to improve Implementation SOPs (ISOP) and oversee their execution.
• Generate and send booking notifications to stakeholders and suppliers using prescribed formats.
• Document operational tasks accurately within the BWS Transport Management System (Carlo).
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to confirm charges and terms before bookings.
• Work closely with agents for efficient last-mile delivery to ships.
• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders to understand and meet business needs.
• Perform tasks precisely, engaging with internal and external control parties to exceed customer expectations.
• Participate in onsite work or at client premises as needed based on project requirements.

Your Background

• At least 3 years of experience in marine logistics, operations, or related fields.
• Minimum O Levels qualification.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Experience with transport management systems, preferably BWS Carlo, is a plus.
