Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day marine operations, ensuring smooth execution of projects and assignments.
- Monitor vessel movements, schedules, and operational readiness.
- Liaise with port authorities, ship agents, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Allocate and optimise resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements, provide service updates, and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Manage logistics to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery of services and materials.
- Review operational processes and implement improvements to boost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, company SOPs, and safety protocols.
- Prepare reports for management on operational performance, challenges, and improvements.
- Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in marine or shipping operations.
- Strong understanding of marine engine systems, servicing processes, and maritime safety standards.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independentl under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Willing to work beyond standard office hours when required to meet operational demands.
