Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day marine operations, ensuring smooth execution of projects and assignments.
  • Monitor vessel movements, schedules, and operational readiness.
  • Liaise with port authorities, ship agents, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Allocate and optimise resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Liaise with clients to understand requirements, provide service updates, and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Manage logistics to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery of services and materials.
  • Review operational processes and implement improvements to boost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, company SOPs, and safety protocols.
  • Prepare reports for management on operational performance, challenges, and improvements.
  • Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in marine or shipping operations.
  • Strong understanding of marine engine systems, servicing processes, and maritime safety standards.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independentl under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Willing to work beyond standard office hours when required to meet operational demands.
