Job summary

Go-Ahead Singapore is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the Garaging team and ensure efficient nightly operations. The role includes managing manpower, attending meetings about road closures, and driving continuous operational improvements. Candidates should possess at least a Diploma and 3 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication skills and relevant certifications being advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in operations.
  • Certified IOSH with relevant authorities and/or equivalent.
  • First Aid certification and Class 3 driving licence are advantages.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Garaging team to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient execution of nightly operations.

  • Oversee manpower planning, monitor team performance, and conduct regular briefings to maintain operational readiness and uphold company standards.

  • Attend coordination meetings with relevant authorities and stakeholders on planned road or lane closures impacting bus services.

  • Plan and execute necessary operational adjustments, ensuring approvals, staff readiness, and effective communication across all involved parties.

  • Support incident management to ensure safe and uninterrupted execution of operational activities.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, safety and service reliability.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to Management on operations matters, and support ad-hoc assignments as required.

  • Supervise and ensure workplace safety and health risks are identified, assessed and controlled, and provide employees with information on compliance to workplace safety and health policies.

Job Requirements

  • Possess at least a Diploma in any field.

  • At least 3 years of working experience as a supervisor in an operations and fast-paced environment.

  • Possess good communication skills, good situational awareness and able to multi-task.

  • Certified IOSH with relevant authorities and/ or equivalent.

  • First Aid certification and Class 3 driving licence will be an advantage.
