Designation: Senior / Operations Engineer, Transmission

Responsibilities

The role supports the Transmission Operations, by providing 24x7 engineering support of operation and maintenance with alignment on the business strategy.

• Operate and maintain company's and external customers' TV and Radio transmission equipment
• Perform first line maintenance on optical links, microwave link, TV and radio transmitters, programme input equipment etc.
• Oversee the maintenance of M&E equipment such as diesel generator, UPS, electrical switchboard and facilities system such as fire alarm and security system
• Carry out Business Continuity Plan
• Carry out heavy TV and Radio transmitter maintenance under the supervision of the maintenance engineers
• Carry out remote monitoring for DTV remote sites and perform fire line support and feedback to maintenance team if not able to resolve the issue remotely
• Reporting and logging for the daily activities in PC
• Comply with Cyber Security Policy
• Able to drive the company vehicle to provide ferry service to staff

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
• Preferably 2 years experience in related work environment
• Fresh diploma holders with relevant educational background will be considered for the junior position
• Require to work on 3 rotating shift
• Possess Class 3 driving license
• Good knowledge/experience in:
• Radio/TV Engineering and standards
• Radio/TV transmission
• Networking or Cyber Securities
• OHASA Standards
• Good team player
• Able to work under pressure
• Good oral and written communication skills
