Job summary

FORMAX VENTURES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Resident Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) with a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 8 years of on-site supervision experience.

The role involves reviewing design details, ensuring compliance with local codes, and leading a team of Site Supervisors while upholding safety standards. Willingness to work overtime and support digitalisation on projects is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or accredited equivalent.
• Accreditation recognised by PEB Singapore.
• At least 8 years of relevant on-site experience.
• Site supervision and practical experience across civil/structural/mechanical/electrical/architectural works.
• Attended at least 1 safety course and demonstrate safety acumen on site.
• Ability to manage a team of Site Supervisors.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; team player.
• Diligent, methodical, meticulous; willing to work overtime.
• Willingness to support digitalisation efforts in projects.
• Subject to approval of supervising qualified persons; experience with large contractors may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil/structural/mechanical/electrical/architectural works on site.
• Review design details, method statements and resolve site issues.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations and authority requirements.
• Lead and coordinate a team of Site Supervisors.
• Promote safety on site and highlight potential infringements.
• Support digitalisation initiatives on projects.
