Job title: Senior Officer (Plastics)

Our client is an MNC chemical trading company in Singapore. They are seeking a detail-oriented, organised, and experienced Senior Officer to provide essential clerical, logistics, and administrative support for trade documentation and coordination for the Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) department.

Reporting to: Department Manager

【Responsibilities】
- Provide logistics and documentation functions to facilitate the shipment of polyethene shipments
- Coordinate with the finance and accounting team in the LC and finance matters.
- Coordinate with headquarters and forwarders to manage schedules and stock as requested.
- Coordinate and monitor with overseas offices and customers for payment, including opening LC, amendments, until funds are received.
- Build a good relationship with suppliers.
- Maintain regulatory compliance of activities in the assigned area.
- Provide feedback on any improvement or incidents (if any) to the superior.
- Manage outstanding invoices/customers’ complaints

【Requirements & Preferences】

(Must)
- Minimum "N"/"O" Level
- 2-4 years of experience in import & export, LC, and documentation for shipments in a Trading or similar company
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint (High level of presentation skills is required)

(Advantageous)
- Day-to-day operation using SAP is an advantage
- Experience working in a Japanese company is a plus!
