Job summary

A prominent properties management company in Singapore is looking for a Maintenance Technician to ensure building facilities and M&E systems are managed effectively. The ideal candidate should hold a relevant diploma and have 2-3 years of experience in maintenance roles. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular checks on housekeeping and M&E services.

  • Track and report on service activities.
  • Manage stock inventory and prepare reports.
  • Support operational activities for promotional events.
  • Participate in the Company Emergency Response Team.

Job description

This position is for Allgreen Properties Ltd (based in Great World City Shopping Centre), a company under Kuok (Singapore) Ltd.

Please note that this role includes a 5.5 day work week, where it is office hours from Monday to Friday, with an AM shift on Saturday.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • To conduct regular checks to ensure housekeeping is in order; M&E services, building facilities and equipment are maintained to be safe and operating effectively and efficiently, eg. electrical, air-conditioning systems, chilled-water systems.

  • To carry out maintenance, equipment check, trouble-shooting, minor repairs and other necessary installation works, eg. sanitary and plumbing works, electrical works and building works.

  • To monitor term and ad-hoc contractors in their servicing activities and to ensure all completed work meets required standard as per scope of works detail in the checklist.

  • To attend to tenants’ requests for maintenance-related matters and ensure service assistance is rendered to tenants in a timely manner.

  • Track service reports and report on activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, or breakdown occurrences. close work orders thereafter.

  • To keep proper record of work assignments and prepare reports for submission through Simplicity system (ie. Work orders, etc)

  • To manage stock inventory and ensure proper storage and accountability in a timely manner.

  • To provide operational support for promotional events eg. stage and sound system, crowd control etc.

  • To be part of the Company Emergency Response Team (i.e. Response Team, First Aider, etc)

  • To assist in tasks assigned by the management from time to time.


  • NTC 2 or 3/ Nitec/Higher Nitec in Mechanical/Electrical/Building or its equivalent

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office: MS Word and Excel

  • Proficient in English as communication with technicians, contractors, and management will be conducted primarily in English

  • 5.5 days and overtime when required

  • Min 2 - 3 years of working experience in maintenance of M&E systems and building facilities in retail mall / commercial building operations

  • Proven experience of supervising and training of technicians

  • Work under minimum supervision with attention to detail, initiative with strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
