About the Department

TheCredit and Risk Managementfunction is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group’s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile

Job Responsibilities

Limits Control and Management Reporting Team

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Review of market risk limits and mandates from planning, setting to implementation for Group, Head Office and overseas centres.
  • Reviews and facilitates the change in limits and mandates based on requests from Group Global Markets, regulatory requirements and new Treasury products release.
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly market risk and limits reports for management.
  • Conduct mid-year and year-end review for market risk limits and mandates.
  • Participates in projects (i.e. BCBS 239, FRTB CVA and/or ad hoc market risk projects where assigned), process changes and department initiatives.
Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Statistics with strong interest in market risk management are welcomed to apply.
  • Detailed and meticulous qualities are essential.
  • Ability to work as a team as well as able to multi-task and work well under pressure with commitment to deliver under tight deadlines and drive initiatives to completion effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint are required. Knowledge of VBA and Access is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate has at least one year of market risk experience. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
