What the role is:
As a Senior Officer/ Manager, Communications and Engagement Planning in the Planning Office in the Communications & Engagement Group (CEG), you will be part of a dynamic team that guides MOE’s overall communications and engagement strategies, coordinates and reviews MOE’s communications and engagement efforts using an evidence-based approach. You would have opportunities to contribute to data-driven communications and engagement with MOE’s stakeholders and help strengthen public trust in the education system.
What you will be working on:
• Collect and analyse stakeholder sentiments to provide new insights to inform MOE’s policies, communications and engagement initiatives• Evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies using both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies• Develop communications strategies and messages for MOE and translate them into work plans• Strengthen MOE’s communications and engagement capabilities, explore new methods and tools to enhance capabilities for delivery of internal and external communications and engagement• Participate in cross-Branch and Divisional communications and engagement projectsThis is an individual contributor role. What we are looking for:
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in managing and conducting research projects, data analytics, quantitative and/ or qualitative research methods• Proficiency in a variety of data analytical tools such as Tableau and SPSS• Strong writing, communications, interpersonal and project management skills• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities• High level of initiative and willingness to learn• Ability to multi-task, adapt well to changes, work independently as well as in teams• Relevant experience in market, social sciences research or business analytics would be an advantageIn general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the close of the application window.
