About the Department

Our team comprises five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralizing and standardizing technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

The Group Technology and Operations (GTO) Academy Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the training programs of the GTO Academy from planning to execution. This position requires a highly organized and proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of training initiatives.

  • Program Planning and Development: Provide support and contribute to the development of training programs that align with the organisation's goals and objectives as a member of the GTO Academy team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with trainers, participants, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and coordination. Address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Track and assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics. Implement improvements based on evaluations.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant information, and program outcomes. Prepare reports and documentation as required.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development. Propose innovative ideas to enhance the GTO Academy's offerings.
  • Coordination and Execution: Provide support for GTO Academy events and GTO-wide events, by managing scheduling, logistics, and execution. Ensure all necessary materials and resources are prepared and available.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Some experience in training coordination, program management, event planning, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues that may arise during program planning and event execution.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and event management software is a plus.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
  • Experience with Digital Media and Video Editing: Proficiency in using video editing software to create high-quality video content.
  • Creating Storyboards: Ability to conceptualize and design storyboards that outline the visual sequence and narrative flow of video projects as part of training or events content.
  • Producing Short-Form Content: Experience in producing engaging short-form content for training or promotional materials.
  • Proactive: Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Innovative: Innovative thinker capable of suggesting fresh ideas and strategies to improve training programs, and willing to experiment with new applications and tools to create digital content.
  • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous in planning and executing tasks to ensure high-quality outcomes.
