Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creating detailed project plan and overseeing workstreams within GWB units on CDD, FATCA and CRS matters and also post-implementation monitoring.
  • Responsible for timely execution and fulfilment of BAU processes; Change in Circumstances ("CIC") customer outreach/monitoring, Relationship Manager Inquiry Exercise ("RMI"), CRS & FATCA Annual validation, CRS & FATCA Annual Mass Mailing Client Outreach
  • Maintain robust governance around decisions made, risks escalated, timeline changes, and other project-related matters.
  • Develop strong partnerships with key internal and external parties ensuring that project expectations and data governance expectations are understood and achieved in supporting above-mentioned processes.
  • Plan and execute annual processes runbooks and liaise with stakeholders on exception or changes that may arise to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and necessary tasks are well executed.
  • Be central point to relevant functions/Front-to-Back on FATCA/CRS/Dodd Frank requirements - provide updates and answer questions as necessary.
  • Escalate key risks, define mitigations, and communicate accordingly with relevant stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot key risks/issues, and work out the interim & long-term approaches, thereafter to monitor dependencies
  • Measure, monitor and prepare progress/ management reports and participate incl. weekly/monthly status updates through AFC Forums and PWG/PSC Committee.
  • Perform data quality checks and processes & remediation workstreams, pre-reporting and consolidating requirements which includes UAT, regression system testing to facilitate regulatory reporting.
  • Other ad hoc requirements
Job Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in banking/financial institution.
  • Experienced in Risk Control & Governance, Operations, Assurance and Analytics is essential.
  • Experience in FATCA, QI and CRS processes and tax reporting related will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent time management skill and interpersonal skill.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Responsible and takes ownership of assigned tasks and abides to timeline
