Job summary

PayPal is seeking an experienced Offensive Security professional to protect products, networks, and cloud environments. You will perform hands-on penetration testing, validate findings from automated tools, and provide remediation guidance across multi-domain environments.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering and infrastructure teams, guiding security initiatives, and influencing security posture through practical, risk-based actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on penetration testing experience, capable of managing assessments end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Scope and perform penetration tests from planning through reporting and remediation support.
• Hands-on testing of web, mobile, APIs, and internal infrastructure.
• Network penetration testing across internal, external, and cloud environments.
• Cloud penetration testing across cloud service provider environments and IAM issues.
• Review and validate vulnerabilities found via AI-assisted code reviews and automated tools.
