Job description

Senior Occupational Therapist (Rehabilitation Services)

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with members to identify rehabilitation goals through assessments.
  2. Facilitate appropriate occupational therapy interventions (groups and individual) with the integration of task analysis.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to develop and conduct relevant programme(s) that enhance the functional abilities and promote the readiness of members for community re-integration, including vocational rehabilitation.
  4. Provide feedback on members' progress and make recommendations to rehabilitation counsellors based on the assessment of members.
  5. Plan, evaluate and deliver the adapted clubhouse rehabilitation programmes with the rehabilitation team.
  6. Conduct outcome evaluation on implemented programme(s) using appropriate assessment tools and make recommendations based on findings to ensure programme's effectiveness.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely reporting of outcomes for service development purposes.
  8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports.
  9. Provide supervision and relevant training to the support staff and students on placement.
  10. Be involved in service quality and development activities.
  11. Any other duties, as assigned by the Manager (Rehab / Senior Occupational Therapist).

Job Requirements:

Degree in Occupational Therapy (registrable with the Allied Health Professions Council in Singapore).

At least 4 years relevant experience with 1 year supervisory.
