Job summary

A healthcare service provider in Singapore is seeking an Occupational Therapist to conduct assessments and design tailored therapy interventions. The role requires a degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Singapore Allied Health Professional Council. You will collaborate with clients to develop personalized goals and maintain documentation of therapy progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on community integration and will support Therapy Assistants in their training.

  • Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments during client admissions, periodic care reviews, and at discharge.
  • Select and implement tailored outcome measures to gauge therapy progress and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop personalized and achievable goals.
  • Design evidence-based therapy interventions that prioritize individual client needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, therapy plans, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Effectively communicate assessment findings, intervention plans, and discharge strategies to clients and relevant parties.
  • Ensure proper utilization and client training on rehabilitation equipment, including advanced technological aids.
  • Provide recommendations for assistive devices and equipment as needed for enhanced mobility and functionality.
  • Develop comprehensive discharge and continuity of care plans to support clients post-therapy.
  • Foster community integration through strategic partnerships with local organizations and services.
  • Contribute actively to case discussions within the care team for holistic client management.
  • Offer guidance and support in training Therapy Assistants to uphold quality standards in therapy delivery.
Job Requirements
