Your role as Senior Occupational Therapist:

1) Execution of therapy intervention plan based on evaluation of student’s condition.

2) Liaise with parents, teachers and other allied health professionals to provide multidisciplinary support to the students.

3) Evaluate and monitor progress at regular intervals.

4) Maintain updated student records, therapy resources, occupational therapy programmes / intervention and reports.

5) Training & Coaching

· Provide training, consultation, and instruction to teachers on the use of adaptive devices and equipment for the purpose of ensuring such devices are used appropriately and optimal benefits are achieved

· Plan and deliver training on ASD related topics to stakeholders

· Plan induction and orientation for new OTs

· Coach and develop OTs

· Supervise OTs eligible for registration with Allied Health Professional Council in Singapore to be a Full Registrant

6) Management and Service Operations

· Lead in the development of programme, policies & procedures by collaborating with other allied health professionals

· Participate in research projects to contribute to evidence-based practice

· Recommend procurement and monitor utilization of equipment and resource material

· Conduct performance reviews of OTs

Requirements:

1) Master or Degree in Occupational Therapy

2) Full registration with Allied Health Professions Council

3) Experience working with ASD students

4) Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills

5) Preferably with 5 – 6 years of relevant working experience
