Job summary

Mandai Wildlife Group in Singapore is seeking a NodeJS Microservice Developer to build and maintain our AWS Serverless platform. With 3-5 years of hands-on microservice development in an Agile environment, you will deploy, manage, and optimize microservices across applications.

You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance services using NodeJS and AWS (EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3), collaborate with Product Owner, Scrum Master, BA, and developers, and ensure code quality,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in microservice development using NodeJS and AWS technologies.
• Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or related subject, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Git.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and AWS AI/ML services.
• AWS Certification will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using NodeJS and AWS serverless technologies (EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Ensure code quality, organization, and automation through best practices and code reviews.
• Optimize microservices for speed and scalability while ensuring reliability.
• Stay up to date with trends in microservice development and AWS serverless tech.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug services in production to resolve issues.
• Own the entire application lifecycle from coding to production support.
• Keep services current by patching dependencies and upgrading runtimes.
• Maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
