Job summary

NodeFlair is seeking a Senior Backend / Microservices Engineer for our Singapore team. The role emphasizes building robust microservices with strong backend focus, using Node.js, NestJS, and cloud-based AWS architectures.

You will work across the stack with frontend tech (Angular/React/TypeScript) when needed, optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis), and contribute to CI/CD, testing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend/frontend development experience.
• Experience with Node.js, NestJS and microservice architecture.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and serverless.
• Proficient in Git, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security, monitoring, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices with backend focus.
• Contribute to frontend and backend using JS technologies (Angular, React, TypeScript, NodeJS, NestJS).
• Optimize database schemas and data flow via APIs.
• Build scalable cloud services on AWS.
• Support CI/CD, test automation, and containerization.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.
