Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a 1-year contract to help build a modern, full-stack platform that automates government grant administration and eligibility computation.

You will connect best-of-breed government tooling, orchestrate data across systems, and own the design of workflows and integrations using Opus and related technologies. Join a lean, agile team and help shape engineering practices for a growing company.

Qualifications

Strong infrastructure and cloud experience provisioning and operating workloads on modern cloud/container platforms.
Practical experience with Docker and GitLab CI/CD.
Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, OpenTofu).
Ability to design reliable, secure API integrations between systems.
Knowledge of web stacks (React, Node.js) to interface with the application layer.

Responsibilities

Establish production-grade infrastructure and CI/CD for a grants platform.
Enable multiple grant schemes to automate computation and reduce manual spreadsheets.
Build system-to-system integrations across government platforms.
Shape engineering practices in an early-stage platform team.
Design, provision and manage cloud infrastructure for development, staging and production environments.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and promote CI/CD practices across the team.
Containerise and deploy the application using Docker and manage environments with infrastructure-as-code.
Design and build workflows on Opus to model case management and grant computation logic.
Develop integrations that orchestrate data between systems with robust error handling and observability.
