Job summary

Thoughtworks in Singapore is seeking a Lead Developer to drive successful delivery for clients, combining strategic oversight with hands-on coding. You will guide teams, shape technical visions, negotiate with clients and translate business needs into robust software solutions.

A strong emphasis on AI-first delivery, design patterns, and DevSecOps practices is expected as you mentor peers and influence project outcomes.

Qualifications

Ten+ years of full-stack development experience with modern tech.
Experience leading software teams using Agile/Lean.
Active exploration and application of AI technologies in software projects.
Knowledge of delivery approaches such as TDD, CI, pairing, and automation.
Bonus points for cloud tech like AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Champion and adopt best practices like clean code, TDD, pair programming and design patterns.
Oversee the full cycle of software consulting and delivery from ideation to production.
Lead in strategic AI-first software delivery across the SDLC.
Promote continuous delivery to deliver value early and often.
Design solutions and select technologies that solve client problems within constraints.
Collaborate with teammates to build features and prototypes with UX in mind.
Apply Technology Radar thinking to client problems and continue coding alongside developers.
Foster a culture of DevSecOps and security-left practices.
