Job summary

Oracle Global Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a Principal Network Development Engineer to ensure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of OCI networks. You will develop automation, analyze telemetry, and collaborate across teams to deliver highly available cloud services.

You will lead initiatives, mentor engineers, and contribute to runbooks and governance, while supporting incident response and service restoration in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Expert-level routing protocols BGP/OSPF/IS-IS and related TCP/IP stack.
• Hands-on with large-scale ISP, hyperscale cloud, or enterprise networks.
• Certifications CCNP/CCIE/JNCIP/JNCIE advantageous.
• Automation scripting in Python or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve availability, performance, and reliability of OCI network services.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network incidents in large-scale environments.
• Design and develop automation to eliminate repetitive tasks and improve reliability.
• Review network architecture and lifecycle management initiatives.
• Lead operational excellence, runbooks, and incident response readiness.
• Mentor engineers and participate in technical interviews and hiring.
