Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Network Development Engineer to join their Cloud Infrastructure team. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and operational excellence of OCI network services, tackling complex network challenges, and leading operational initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with routing protocols, cloud environments, and automation technologies. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers and drive process optimization in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of routing and networking protocols including BGP, OSPF.
• Extensive experience supporting large-scale network infrastructure.
• Self-motivated and comfortable operating in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the availability and reliability of OCI network services.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents.
• Lead operational excellence initiatives and mentor junior engineers.

Skills

Expert-level knowledge of routing and networking protocols

Strong hands-on experience with Juniper

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco

Proficient in Python

Proficient in Ansible

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
