Our client, a leading global financial markets infrastructure provider, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support and enhance its global connectivity platform. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting highly available, low-latency network infrastructure that underpins mission-critical trading and market data services.

The position combines network engineering, customer connectivity, incident management, automation, and cloud networking responsibilities within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure supporting global customer connectivity and trading operations.
• Provision, onboard, test, and certify client network connections across multiple data center locations.
• Configure and deploy routing, switching, and edge network changes within production environments.
• Troubleshoot complex network, market data, and connectivity issues across customer-facing and internal infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, capacity, availability, and latency to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Perform packet captures and traffic analysis to investigate connectivity and market data anomalies.
• Collaborate with network engineering, systems engineering, cloud, data center, and vendor teams to deliver network solutions.
• Develop and maintain network automation tools using Python, APIs, and automation frameworks.
• Support AWS-based networking environments and hybrid connectivity architectures.
• Participate in incident response activities and contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with maintenance activities and provide support for business-critical infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Network Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Arista networking technologies.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, multicast, and network troubleshooting.
• Expertise with BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Experience supporting AWS cloud networking environments.
• Hands-on experience with packet capture and network analysis tools.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting knowledge.
• Experience with Python and API-based network automation.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• CCNA, CCNP, AWS Associate, Network+, Security+, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with Corvil or similar packet analysis platforms.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development and automation technologies.
• Previous experience supporting financial services, exchanges, capital markets, or low-latency environments.
