Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners in Singapore is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead Cisco ACI-based data centre network designs, deployments, migrations and troubleshooting in large enterprise environments.

You will design fabric architectures, implement policies, coordinate with security, server, cloud and application teams, and provide SME guidance while applying industry best practices to ensure production stability and security.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise networking with Cisco ACI focus.
• Primary skill in Cisco ACI, with data centre networking, routing and integration experience.
• Own network designs, lead implementations and production changes with stakeholders.
• Strong root cause analysis and complex issue resolution in ACI/data centre networks.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects, migrations and controlled changes.
• Bachelor/Master in CS/IT/Network Eng; CCNP Data Center or CCIE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of Cisco ACI-based data centre network solutions, including fabric architecture, policy design and integration with enterprise network services.
• Perform hands-on Cisco ACI implementations, migrations, policy changes and production activities, including planning, testing and execution.
• Troubleshoot complex Cisco ACI and data centre network issues, perform root cause analysis and support production stability.
• Work closely with security, server, cloud, virtualization and application teams to deliver reliable network solutions.
• Provide technical guidance as a Cisco ACI subject matter expert to project and operations teams.
• Develop and maintain network security policies, standards and procedures in line with organisational requirements and industry best practices.
• Contribute to network risk assessments, security audits and related improvement initiatives.
• Support network traffic monitoring, incident troubleshooting and continuous optimisation.
• Explore network automation and predictive solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support on network design, implementation, troubleshooting and best practices.

TheSenior Network Engineerwill lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise and data centre network solutions, withCisco ACIas the primary skillset. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong experience delivering ACI designs, production implementations, migrations, and complex troubleshooting in large enterprise environments.

Technical Skills

Cisco ACI and Data Centre Networking

• Strong hands-on experience designing and deploying Cisco ACI fabrics in enterprise data centre environments.
• Experience with new ACI builds, migrations, policy changes and production support.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities across ACI policy, routing, fabric health and application connectivity.
• Good understanding of data centre architectures, including spine-leaf and fabric architectures.

Networking

• Strong knowledge of IP networking and routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, IPsec, TCP/IP and QoS.
• Experience with VXLAN and network switching technologies.
• Experience integrating network infrastructure with load balancers and enterprise services.

Cloud, Automation and Virtualisation

• Working knowledge of cloud networking across platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of network automation tools and technologies such as Ansible, Python and Terraform.
• Experience with network virtualisation technologies such as SDN and NFV.

Network Security

• Knowledge of network security technologies including firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, DDoS protection and identity and access management.
• Familiarity with firewall platforms such as FortiGate, Check Point, Juniper SRX and Cisco Firewalls.

Monitoring and Load Balancing

• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds, NetScout and Wireshark.
• Experience with load-balancing technologies such as F5 GTM/LTM or Citrix ADC.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise networking, with strong recent hands-on experience in Cisco ACI design, implementation, migration and troubleshooting in data centre environments.
• Core Skillset: Cisco ACI is the primary technical skill, supported by strong data centre networking, routing, switching and network integration experience.
• Delivery: Ability to take ownership of network designs, lead implementations, manage production changes and work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshooting: Strong ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex Cisco ACI and data centre network issues.
• Project Experience: Experience delivering infrastructure projects, migrations and controlled production changes from planning through implementation.
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree in a relevant field will be an advantage.

• Certifications: CCNP Data Center, Cisco ACI Specialist, CCIE, or related professional certifications are preferred.
