Job summary

Fuku is seeking a seasoned Network Administrator to maintain and secure our IT infrastructure in Singapore. You will administer heterogeneous environments, perform hardening, patches, DR planning, and 24/7 support across production, DR, and test labs.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS and at least 5 years of hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and load balancers, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

• 5+ years hands‑on experience managing network and security equipment (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPN, Load Balancer, DNS, NAC).
• Ability to support 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities:

Network Administration

• Perform network administration in a heterogeneous environment (production, DR, test) comprising network & security equipment and telecommunication links.
• Conduct hardening, upgrades, and enhancements on IT infrastructure components.
• Monitor, assess, schedule, and implement network and product-specific security vulnerability patches.
• Track obsolescence of IT infrastructure components (network systems).
• Monitor expiry and renew network system passwords and certificates.
• Implement network backup operations to ensure data recoverability and business continuity.
• Execute disaster recovery plans for IT infrastructure (network systems) and conduct regular disaster recovery testing and component switchover exercises to ensure usability of standby and DR equipment.
• Provide 24 x 7 support (in 5 shifts).

Project Management & Support

• Provide infrastructure (system & network) support to projects in accordance with project timelines.
• Manage infrastructure enhancement/upgrade projects following established project management guidelines.

Incident & Problem Management

• Provide second-level network support and resolve incidents and problems in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Diagnose problems on incidents and propose and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

Change & Release Management

• Schedule and release network system changes to the production environment in accordance with change management processes and procedures.

Configuration Management

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all IT infrastructure components used in the production environment.

Capacity & Performance Management

• Monitor and plan infrastructure system and network capacity.
• Perform performance tuning to optimize network performance.

Process Management

• Implement underlying processes supporting IT service management, in conformance with corporate security policies and guidelines.

Documentation

• Develop and maintain technical and process documents to support IT infrastructure.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience managing network and security equipment such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPN, Load Balancer, DNS, NAC.
• Ability to support 24/7 operations.
