Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Dot Net Developer to design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET 8 / ASP.NET Core. You will work with PostgreSQL, implement authentication flows, and collaborate with frontend teams to define API contracts.

You'll containerize services with Docker, support Jenkins or GitLab CI pipelines, write tests, and participate in code reviews while upholding code quality and observability practices across the stack.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of backend experience in C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core.
• Design and implement REST APIs with secure coding practices.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQL Server) and ORM (EF).
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient version control and collaborative workflows (Git).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills; clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Integrate with PostgreSQL and manage data access layers.
• Implement authentication/authorization flows, including JWT and LDAP when needed.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to define API contracts.
• Containerize services with Docker and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues with logging and observability.
• Contribute to architecture decisions for new services.
