Job summary

User Experience Researchers Pte. Ltd. seeks a backend engineer to design scalable services using .NET 8 and ASP.NET Core. You will build robust APIs and partner with frontend teams to ensure quality and security.

Responsibilities include PostgreSQL with EF, authentication/authorization, Docker containers, and CI/CD integration. The role emphasizes reliability, observability, and architectural input in a modern enterprise stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend service experience in C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core preferred).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQL Server) and ORMs (EF or equivalent).
• Strong REST API design and authentication/authorization knowledge.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET 8/ASP.NET Core.
• Work with PostgreSQL and EF to design schemas and data access layers.
• Implement authentication/authorization flows and directory services integration.
• Integrate backends with enterprise systems and ITSM platforms.
• Collaborate with frontend to design API contracts for React/TypeScript.
• Containerize services with Docker and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Write unit/integration tests and uphold code quality (SonarQube).
• Troubleshoot production issues with logging and observability.
• Contribute to architecture decisions for new services.
