Job summary

National University of Singapore invites a creative Multimedia Designer with web experience to join the Faculty of Science. You will design across print, digital assets and microsites, and oversee frontend website work with WordPress and related tools.

You’ll translate briefs into engaging visuals, maintain the FoS brand, and collaborate with vendors and IT on site maintenance, accessibility and optimization. Strong portfolio and 3+ years’ experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communications, Web Design, or related discipline, with a strong portfolio.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in in-house communications, agency, or similar.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Hands‑on experience designing and building websites or microsites using WordPress or similar CMS.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; basic Java is an advantage.
• Good understanding of responsive design, UI/UX, and accessibility.
• Familiarity with AI tools for asset generation and workflow optimization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to work beyond regular hours for events/releases.

Responsibilities

• Graphic and multimedia design across print, websites, social media, infographics and presentations.
• Brand stewardship and adherence to FoS/NUS brand guidelines.
• Develop campaign concepts, visual directions and digital experiences.
• Build, deploy and maintain campaign microsites using WordPress and approved tools.
• Translate briefs into effective page structures, journeys and responsive interfaces.
• Apply HTML/CSS and lightweight frontend techniques for custom layouts.
• Manage web content, forms and media across FoS properties.
• Ensure accessibility, image optimization and cross-device compatibility.
• Coordinate with external vendors and NUS IT on maintenance and security.
• Support events and outreach with cross‑team collaboration.
