Job summary

LPS in Singapore seeks a highly skilled Cloud Engineer lead (Level 3) to manage multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP for commercial and Singapore Government-appointed agencies. The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership, IaC, patching, deployment, and security compliance.

You will mentor junior engineers, participate in weekend rotations, and ensure uptime in strict, audit-driven environments using CIS benchmarks and government guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Cloud Engineering roles.
• At least 2 years of experience in public sector or regulated cloud environments.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience in 24/7 operational support environments with shift rotation.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and leading junior engineers.
• Strong background in ITIL processes and ITSM platforms with CIS security hardening and remediation.
• Familiarity with Singapore Government technology standards and frameworks (e.g., SHIP-HATS, IM8 Policy).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Lead patching and OS hardening for Windows/LINUX in production.
• Mentor Level 2 and junior engineers; participate in incident management.
• Implement and maintain IaC pipelines and GitOps practices.
• Support ITIL processes, change management, and SIEM/monitoring.
• Collaborate with security, governance, and development teams to ensure compliance.
