Job summary

AstraZeneca is building its first biologics manufacturing campus in Singapore. We seek a Senior MSAT Specialist, Materials, to lead material qualification, lifecycle management, and risk-based strategies across biologics and fill-finish operations.

You will partner with the Director of Product Technical Transfer and cross-functional teams to translate science into scalable, compliant solutions that bolster manufacturing robustness and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, SHE, SOPs and compliance frameworks.
• Experience applying project management principles.
• Ability to explain technical decisions to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead material qualification, lifecycle management, and supplier assessment to ensure compliance and quality.
• Conduct risk assessments and qualification activities for materials and single-use systems.
• Drive extractables and leachables strategies ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• Evaluate new materials, technologies, and supplier solutions to improve reliability and scalability.
• Serve as primary escalation point for technical issues and coordinate cross-functional investigations.
• Support change control and risk mitigation, aligning goals with quality objectives.
• Mentor MSAT material specialists and establish best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with regulatory, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain groups; engage external suppliers as needed.
• Communicate technical insights and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and promote data-driven decision making.
• Lead efforts to adopt digital tools and improve process performance.
