Job summary

OKX is seeking a Staff Mobile Security Engineer to lead security across OKX's mobile apps. You will identify vulnerabilities, drive secure coding practices, and leverage AI-assisted workflows to accelerate research.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mobile application security or offensive security.
• Hands-on expertise in iOS and/or Android security.
• Ability to create PoCs to demonstrate vulnerabilities and review patch code.
• Active use of AI tools in security engineering workflows.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address security vulnerabilities in mobile code, systems, and networks through manual review, automated tooling, and threat modelling.
• Manage and optimise application security tools, processes, and alerts to maintain a strong security posture.
• Validate and respond to Bug Bounty submissions, triaging findings and coordinating remediation with engineering teams.
• Produce detailed security findings reports and present them to both technical and management audiences.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices across iOS and Android.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate security research and automate vulnerability detection workflows.
• Work with operations and compliance teams to ensure security remains a priority across the organisation.
• Participate in incident response and management activities.
• Stay current on offensive security techniques and industry best practices.
