Job summary

OKX in Singapore seeks a Senior Staff Mobile Engineer for its Mobile Infrastructure team. You will work at the platform layer, building tools, frameworks, and systems to empower product engineering teams to move faster, ship higher quality code, and scale reliably.

You are deeply native in iOS or Android, contribute across both platforms, and apply AI coding tools to accelerate infrastructure development while maintaining performance and scalability across millions of users.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of native iOS or Android development experience.
• Expertise in iOS (Swift/Objective-C/C++) or Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Experience using AI tools in engineering workflows.
• Proven experience optimising app performance — memory, package size, startup time, UI rendering.
• Deep understanding of design patterns, architectural principles, and mobile SDK layer.
• Strong communication skills — collaborating across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain mobile infrastructure, tooling, and shared frameworks that improve engineering efficiency and developer experience across the organisation.
• Analyse and optimise application code at the UI and infrastructure layer, including memory footprint, package size, startup time, and rendering performance.
• Design and develop reusable, scalable mobile components for use across iOS and Android platforms.
• Partner with product engineering teams to deliver infrastructure solutions, establish best practices, and drive technical standards.
• Drive architecture innovations that support world-class mobile app development at scale.
• Optimise project structure and engineering workflows to improve productivity, quality, and release velocity.
• Apply AI coding tools to accelerate infrastructure development, improve code quality, and cross-translate solutions across iOS and Android platforms.
• Stay current with mobile platform developments and emerging toolchain innovations, evaluating and adopting what moves the needle.
