Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) seeks a seasoned MLOps leader to build scalable AI-enabled pipelines and middleware for the Software Defined Factory. Define the roadmap for edge and cloud transformations and drive enterprise-scale MLOps initiatives.

You will mentor data scientists, coordinate cross-functional teams, and collaborate with software architects and product managers to enhance developer productivity, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in MLOps, AI, Cloud, DevOps in manufacturing environments.
• 4+ years building and deploying ML software at scale (global/regional).
• 2+ years of direct people management leading software/ML teams.
• Experience as AI/ML Project Coordinator with prompt engineering familiarity.
• Experience as AI/MLOps consultant with team coordination responsibilities.
• Strong CI/CD, cloud infra, and multi-cloud architectures.
• Experience with databases including migration to cloud-native environments.
• Hands-on software development fundamentals and Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for MLOps edge and cloud infrastructure transformation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor project performance, and report progress including risks and mitigations.
• Manage AI projects from planning to monitoring and deliver milestones on time.
• Lead migrations, optimize performance, security, and cost.
• Mentor data scientists and develop AI/MLOps hub strategies.
• Establish and refine MLOps best practices, tools, and frameworks.
• Drive improvements in edge/cloud performance, scalability, and testing.
• Collaborate with Software Architects, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Engineers.
