Job summary

Motional AD Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the ML Infrastructure: Dev Enablement Team. You will help design multi-cloud ML training environments, optimize distributed training workloads, and build Agentic AI tooling to accelerate our researchers and engineers.

You will collaborate with ML researchers and data scientists, mentor junior engineers, and scale our core infrastructure with Kubernetes across cloud platforms to keep our AI systems fast, reliable, and scalable.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering with distributed systems.
• Expertise in Python/Go/C++, AWS, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Architect multi-cloud solutions for ML training platform.
• Profile and optimize distributed training jobs (PyTorch/DDP).
• Build Agentic AI tooling to automate ML workflows.
• Scale core ML infrastructure and CDE platform with Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists.
• Mentor junior engineers in system design and reviews.
