Job summary

Portcast, a Singapore-based logistics tech startup supported by SGInnovate, is hiring a senior ML engineer to own end-to-end ML pipelines, from data processing to production deployment. Qualifications

• 5+ years of end-to-end ML model development and production deployment.
• Hands-on experience productionising LLM-based systems.
• Strong Python, SQL, and cloud experience.
• Experience with real-time data processing and time-series forecasting.
• Startup/product company background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy ML models from research to production.
• Own end-to-end ML pipeline: data processing, model development, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Collaborate with product and customer-facing teams to convert loosely defined problems into shipped features.
• Design and implement ML algorithms addressing visibility, prediction, and forecasting.
• Ensure reliable ML infrastructure with automated deployment and monitoring.
• Perform feature engineering, tuning, and validation for production-ready models.
• Build, test, and deploy real-time prediction models with version control and monitoring.
