Job summary

Thoughtworks leads AI initiatives in Singapore by shaping strategy and delivering end-to-end ML systems for complex client projects. You will mentor teams, drive scalable deployment, and advocate Responsible AI practices while staying at the forefront of evolving ML technologies to sustain Thoughtworks’ leadership in innovation.

This leadership role requires cross-functional collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals and measurable value.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing a technical vision and strategy for ML initiatives.
• Experience designing and executing cross-functional requirements based on business priorities.
• Hands-on coding with Python or Shell.
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures for large-scale ML applications.
• Experience with ML platforms (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, MLFlow, Kubeflow, PyTorch).
• Experience with ML deployment, MLOps, CI/CD for ML.

Responsibilities

• Embrace a strategic mindset, contributing to the direction of ML initiatives and aligning technical solutions with broader organizational goals.
• Shape the development of new ML systems from idea to reality, overseeing feasibility and resource allocation.
• Lead development of scalable and maintainable ML systems for optimal performance.
• Translate client needs into feasible ML applications and drive solution design and deployment.
• Own the development and maintenance of ML applications, including pipelines, training, deployment, monitoring and evaluation.
• Champion Responsible AI and effective ways of working within the team.
• Navigate technical challenges with proficiency and guide the team to successful resolutions.
• Stay at the forefront of ML, adopting new technologies to keep Thoughtworks innovative.
• Foster a collaborative environment with hands-on coding, mentorship and knowledge sharing.
• Measure and analyze the impact of ML initiatives to deliver tangible value.
