Medtronic Singapore seeks a Senior Sterilization and Microbiology Leader to oversee a dedicated team ensuring testing, sterilization, and environmental monitoring support production schedules and quality objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in a regulated microbiology or sterilization setting, plus strong leadership, analytical, and CAPA skills to sustain compliant operations in a global healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years in microbiology or related regulated environment.
• Experience leading or supervising employees with coaching and performance management.
• Experience performing microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, or sterilization activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Sterilization and Microbiological Laboratory team to meet production and quality goals.
• Oversee microbiological analyses of materials per procedures and specs.
• Direct sterilization operations ensuring regulatory and quality compliance.
• Review data, interpret results, identify trends, and drive CAPA.
• Develop and maintain microbiology testing methods and controlled environments.
• Drive process improvements and implement new testing approaches.
• Support investigations of deviations and quality events with root-cause analyses.
• Provide leadership in talent development and workforce planning.
