A*STAR National Metrology Centre in Singapore seeks a Senior Metrologist to lead development and dissemination of pressure and flow measurement standards. You will drive advanced calibration services, lab digitalisation, and transfer of metrology know‑how to industry.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain ISO/IEC 17025 compliance, participate in international comparisons, and mentor junior staff while advancing national measurement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in research or development projects in metrology or related fields.
• Ability to lead capability development and drive technical excellence.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Drive and assure quality of national standards for pressure and flow.
• Advance international equivalence and participate in comparisons.
• Lead preparation for peer reviews and maintain global recognition.
• Develop and validate pressure/flow methods, procedures, and systems.
• Disseminate standards to industry and expand calibration services.
• Identify new metrology capabilities and lead new projects.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee technical work packages.
• Digitalise measurement and calibration processes in the laboratory.
