Job summary

A leading company in semiconductor manufacturing seeks a MEMS Process Integration Engineer to lead the development of process flows across various modules. Key responsibilities include NPI, managing technology transfer, and optimizing processes through experimentation. Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration and development of MEMS process flows across multiple modules including etch, deposition, bonding, lithography, wafer grinding and thinning etc.
  • Collaborate with process module owners to ensure the successful execution of process sequences meeting performance, yield, and reliability targets.
  • Drive new product introductions (NPI) by converting design requirements into manufacturable process flows.
  • Support technology transfer from R&D to production and facilitate ramp-up activities.
  • Perform design of experiments (DOE) and data analysis to optimize key process parameters.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve process integration issues impacting yield, device performance, and reliability.
  • Interface with customers and design teams to understand device requirements and translate them into integration strategies.
  • Manage process documentation, including flow diagrams, FMEAs, process control plans, and risk assessments.
  • Support qualification and reliability testing of MEMS products.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, cost-effectiveness, and throughput

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Microelectronics, Physics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in MEMS fabrication or semiconductor process integration.
  • Solid understanding of MEMS device physics, fabrication techniques, and challenges related to process compatibility and integration.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in volume manufacturing environment and working with CMOS foundries or IDMs.
  • Exposure to FMEA, DOE, SPC, and 8D methodologies and data analysis tools such as JMP
