Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd's client, a leading medical devices manufacturer in Singapore's East, seeks a Senior Product Test Engineer to strengthen the verification team. You will design and execute design verification plans, develop test methods, and ensure traceability of verification activities across mechanical, electrical and system levels.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 6 years' experience in Test Engineering, Design Verification or V&V.
• Experience with test method development and product testing is advantageous.
• Familiarity with medical device design controls, risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation; familiarity with Minitab or JMP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute design verification plans to assess whether product requirements are met.
• Establish test methods, acceptance criteria and documentation for verification activities.
• Coordinate test readiness activities with samples, equipment, fixtures and protocols.
• Develop and validate test procedures for verification and performance assessment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish test approaches for new designs.
• Design and maintain test fixtures and electro-mechanical test setups.
• Perform verification, reliability and life testing across mechanical, electrical and system components.
• Review and analyse test data using statistical methods to identify trends and issues.
• Prepare verification protocols and test reports with traceability and audit readiness.
• Support design improvements and ensure medical device requirements compliance.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
