Job Description: We are hiring a senior mechatronics engineer to spearhead our product engineering efforts and supercharge our hardware design and manufacturing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and manufacturing of robust mechatronic systems for our robotics platform and other devices.

• Work closely with the other engineering teams to refine hardware requirements.

• Ensure deployed hardware components are in good working condition and perform troubleshooting for issues that arise.

• Produce clear and concise documentation such as system architecture diagrams, circuit diagrams, and component assemblies.
  

Requirements and skills

• 3+ years of experience in mechatronics.

• BSc or Msc in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.

• Proven expertise in hardware system integration.

• Proven expertise in manufacturing technologies with thorough industry experience.

• Proven expertise in robotic control systems, actuators, and sensors.

• Proficient in robotic hardware design workflows, including but not limited to 2D and 3D CAD, CAM, and relevant simulations.

• Up to date with the latest development in robotic technologies and use cases.

• Knowledge of electrical and power management systems.

• Knowledge of PCB design and PCB design software.

• Knowledge of C/C++.

• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and certification.

• Familiarity with industrial design.

• Experience running a hardware lab is a plus.
