Job summary

CES_SALCON PTE. LTD. seeks a Piping and Mechanical Engineer to oversee planning, coordination, supervision and management of all mechanical and piping works for process plant and pump station installations in Singapore.

You will review mechanical drawings, P&IDs and equipment layouts, verify PUB/BCA compliance, coordinate with civil, electrical and instrumentation teams, supervise installation and testing, and prepare as-built documentation for handover.

Responsibilities

Review mechanical and piping drawings, P&IDs, and equipment layout drawings.
Verify compliance with PUB sewerage or water treatment design requirements.
Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
Review material submissions including pipes, valves, pumps, mechanical equipment, pipe supports and brackets.
Identify potential clashes using coordinated drawings and resolve with relevant disciplines.
Supervise installation and alignment of mechanical equipment including pumps, screening and valves.
Oversee piping installation: routing, supports, joints, and connections.
Coordinate and witness testing: hydrostatic, leak tests, flushing, commissioning support.
Ensure QA/QC records and documentation are maintained.
Coordinate with civil/structural for foundations and penetrations; assist commissioning.
