Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering electrical engineering projects within Data Centres and other Mission Critical environments.
• Proven capability in work winning alongside strong commercial acumen, including management of project teams, budgets, schedules and quality.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical design and engineering practices for Data Centres, including power distribution, resilience, redundancy, and interface with client requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with eligibility to obtain Baseline AGSVA clearance.
• Relevant professional qualifications, including a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Uptime Institute ATD certification, and registration or eligibility for registration (e.g., CPEng, NER), ideally complemented by Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design delivery for data centre projects, acting as a recognised technical expert across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Define objectives and deliverables, organize schedules/resources, apply engineering judgement, ensure high-quality standards.
• Strengthen client partnerships by understanding client business and responding to requirements and market changes.
• Lead sector growth activities, including bid and proposal development and thought leadership.
