Job Summary

We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Rotating to join our Singapore team.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Rotating, you will be responsible for working as Mechanical Engineer – Rotating, assigned to a project as a key member of the design team.

  • Provide definition of the Mechanical engineering – Rotating work in the Project, design approach or criteria by skill and experience.
  • Clearly understand the International Codes, Standards and Local Regulations applicable to the work carried out and raise deviations where necessary.
  • Capable of producing Equipment List for all Rotating Equipment Packages and provide inputs to the Main Equipment List.
  • Provide inputs to weight control report for weights of rotating equipment and packages including final as-weighed weights from vendors.
  • Prepare specifications and data sheets for Rotating Equipment Packages.
  • Prepare RFQ’s, Technical Bid Evaluation and Vendor Data Review of the above Rotating Equipment packages.
  • Act as the overall package Engineer for all Rotating equipment packages.
  • Prepare Inspection and Test Plans for all packages.
  • Develop FAT and SAT procedures for Mechanical packages.
  • Carry out Driver Selection Study if required for turbines and compressors.
  • Responsible for maintaining work progress (budget, schedule) and raising change documentation where necessary.
Requirements

What you’ll have

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical packages for Offshore Oil & Gas projects.
  • A good working knowledge of the codes and standards relating to the oil and gas industry particularly the API recommended practices and ASME pressure vessel codes.
