Job summary

Talent Trader Group in Singapore is seeking a Senior/Mechanical Design Engineer to drive precision mechanical designs for machine vision and semiconductor equipment. You will create detailed 3D models, develop custom tooling and automation solutions, and collaborate across Electrical, Software, Vision, and Manufacturing teams to deliver robust systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 2–5 years of related experience for Senior or at least 2 years for the Engineer

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Senior Engineer: 2–5 years in automation, machine vision, semiconductor equipment, or related fields.
Mechanical Design Engineer: minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software.
Strong understanding of GD&T, DFM, DFA, pneumatic and motion systems, and machine assembly.

Responsibilities

Design and develop precision mechanical systems for machine vision and semiconductor equipment.
Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks).
Develop custom mechanisms, tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions.
Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and DFM.
Collaborate with Electrical, Software, Vision, and Manufacturing teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Support prototype assembly, machine integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Drive continuous design improvements to enhance machine performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
